Since the 90's we have been sending teams to Petrila & Petrosani, SouthWest Central Romania sharing in fellowship with Christians there and assisting them in their outreach and care in the community.

Recent projects have included:

• 2000 - 2003 Collecting and sending second hand clothes to stock a shop in Petrila run
  by the church there, the proceeds financing care for vulnerable families.
• 2004/2005 Building a toilet/washroom/store extension at an orphanage and nursery.
  Holiday Bible Club with the children.
• 2006 Children's Mission in the slum area of Petrosani, working through a Christian
  community centre run by the church.
• 2006 we signed a formal partnership agreement with the church at Petrosani, to encourage and further help them develop their outreach and ministry in the community, and them to help and encourage us through prayer support and exchange visits.
• 2007 Children's Mission in the slum area working through the Josuha Centre in Petrosani
• 2007 6 Romanians from Petrosani visit Market Drayton and visit local schools and take part in the North Shropshire Methodist Youth Choir annual tour to Yorkshire
