3rd Day is a contemporary musical that portrays the amazing and life-changing events that took place in the seven days from Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, to His glorious resurrection on Easter Sunday, after He had suffered the most horrific of deaths when He was crucified on the Friday.

The show’s premiere took place on 5th April 2003 at the Victoria Hall, Stoke-on-Trent. Performed by a cast of 100 singers and a live band gathered from different churches and denominations across North Shropshire, North Staffordshire and Cheshire, it was described as “a phenomenal performance”.

A soundtrack CD was recorded in Autumn 2003, with further performances at the Victoria Hall, Easter People, Cliff College, Lilleshall, St Austell, Dunstable and Market Drayton itself.
