North Shropshire Methodist Youth Choir
The North Shropshire Methodist Youth Choir (or NSMYC for short) is a youth choir based at Market Drayton Methodist Church led by Mrs Alison Savill. They often perform concerts in the local area from a varied repertoire of Christian music and also lead services incorporating choir, worship songs, hymns, readings and sermons.

The NSMYC also goes on weekends away to stay in Churches and perform a concert on the Saturday night and lead worship in the morning service at the Church. During the summer, the NSMYC go on a tour and lead worship in various venues around a region of the country.
The NSMYC was formed in 1993 by Rev. David Cooper mainly to provide an excellent way of encouraging young people into the Christian faith and keeping them involved in church life.
Young Christians are vital for mission, by nurturing them through involvement in the youth choir, we believe we are
equipping missionaries who simply witness to their friends through their character and example. We also involved in this work because we are blessed with many musical gifts and sharing these with other churches that do not have our resources (thereby encouraging them through leading them in worship that is vibrant and full of joy) is an important part of our mission.
